I've been pinning recipes for weeks. It was time to get off the computer and into the kitchen! Dan & I ran into Family Foods this morning and picked up a few things to get me started.

Cheesy Corn Dip: I did not add the chipolte peppers as my small town grocery store did not have them. This is good good good. The green onion, tomato and cilantro on the top were so integral to the flavor. Absolutely YUMMY!

Cheesecake Brownies: These were easy to make and delicious. Granted I went with a can of frosting rather than homemade but really nobody does it better than Pillsbur .

Sweet & Spicy Orange Meatballs:  This recipe is out of my very favorite cookbook. I didn't have any chili garlic sauce so I made them without that. And I used regular philly instead of the chive and onion. These are my FAVORITE meatballs ever!

Spring Salsa (as in everything came from the grocery store and not the garden). I added in more onion than the recipe called for and I just had to throw in some fresh cilantro too. I was very pleased with the flavor in spite of the canned tomatoes. I also I have to thank Shelly, she recently passed on to me her neglected food processor, I love it!!

Chicken Puffs: I felt like these needed a little something. But Dean loved them. I don't know maybe a nice warm sweet & sour sauce would have been a good addition. Next time!
